Sharing the love with the AMES students…

Our founder Bev works as a volunteer tutor with the English as a second Language students at Chisholm TAFE in Frankston.

Armed with her camera she took some great photos of the Christmas party and ate too much food!

Thank you to all the students who held a fantastic concert rich in culture.

Congratulations to the class of 2011!

We are in the process of gathering old images from families on the Mornington Peninsula for an upcoming exhibition.

If you would like your memories restored and displayed, collect 20 of your best photos and contact us.

All participants will receive a free CD of their precious memories.

We love to make locals feel like super stars this month we feature the Kananook Dog Club in Seaford Victoria.

Our first promotional run on the Mornington Peninsula…..

Today we hit the ground running and visited many libraries and cafes on the Mornington Peninsula to spread the word Golden Days Images is open and ready for LOTS of photos!

We were a bit nervous but the locals welcomed us with opened arms and we are so grateful they made the cold calling process a lot easier than expected!

Some of the most interesting stories involved one lady who had 1000 photographs stuffed into an old suitcase, which contained images from her family in Ireland.

Imagine the fun of sorting through all those photographs?

It wasn’t all about work though, we took time out to check out the Mornington market which is held every Wednesday..well I had to squeeze in my Christmas shopping 🙂

Move Over Lion King!…the original musicals still have their sparkle

The old glamour peeking out of the bookshelves is what attracted me to this set of classic programs.

With songs including the Lady in the Tutti Fruit Hat, Minnie’s in the Money and A Journey to a Star these titles are a testament to an golden era.
